Training: “Flux in the Electronics Industry”
Our training sessions are flexibly designed and cover the following topics:

 What does flux do?

  • Classification of flux based on type and activity
  • Classification of flux based on DIN-EN 29454
  • Flux residue
  • Flux selection
  • The wave soldering process
  • Systematic examination to deduce the cause of a soldering fault

The training sessions take place on our premises, but can also be carried out at your company location. The sessions last around 3-4 hours, and each participant receives a certificate of his or her attendance at the end of the instructional talk.

Training for the acquisition of an IPC Proficiency Certificate (CIS)
Objective: Each participant learns to apply the guidelines of production, QS and the acceptance of incoming goods successfully.

Target group: Employees working in QS, test field, assembly line production and purchase of materials.

Duration: 3 days

Certificate: CIS (Certified IPC Specialist)

Note: The certificate acquired must be recertified within a 2 year period following its acquisition.

Educational basis: IPC-A-610 D among other resources.

Training content:

  • The management of electronic modules, ESD
  • Mechanical mounting and fixation points
  • Soldering joints, connections, soldering terminals, electrical-stress relief
  • Through-hole technology
  • Surface mounted devices, damaged components
  • Printed circuit boards and modules, individual wirings

IPC-A-610 defines four criteria that can be differentiated in the use of modules of the classes 1 to 3

Target condition = Ideal condition (perfect)
Acceptable condition = Not completely perfect, but reliability and function remain unaffected
Defect condition = Inadmissible, process interference is necessary, further treatment must be arranged with the customer (use as is, rework, repair, scrap or dispose)
Process indicator condition = Intervention in the production process is necessary due to deviation, however, the product remains unaffected
